Critical Thinking and Media Literacy. Nowadays, with the rise of the Internet and social networks, we find ourselves in a world overloaded with information, in which, to a certain extent, with the democratization of information and networks most of the inhabitants of this planet (if not all) have the possibility of accessing, consuming and editing all kinds of information on the network, which in many cases makes us lose the common thread of a news item or important fact or even blur the concept of truth about the information that reaches us. We know that every image, sound or content we consume often has a double intention, commercial or political, which aims to define or shape our way of thinking or consuming. Critical thinking helps us not to be left with the first impression of what we see and not to let ourselves be manipulated so easily, to have our own criteria about what we consume and how we consume it.
